Rona Bailey Memorial Lecture 2015
The Labour History Project is pleased to announce the 2015 Rona Bailey Memorial Lecture on 16 November 2015 at Toi Whakaari NZ Drama School, 11 Hutchison Rd, Newtown, 5:45pm.
All LHP members, friends and the public are invited to join us. Koha entry. Refreshments provided.
Graeme Clarke will speak on “What is to be Done?”
Graeme’s lecture is about where the trade union movement and socialists are at and how we got there. The lecture is based on his experiences as a trade unionist and communist for the last 40 years. He will suggest some ideas about improving the current low ebb and try to illustrate some of the principles of trade unionism and socialist work in unions.
Graeme Clarke is a lifelong trade unionist, militant, and was a comrade of Rona Bailey in the Workers’ Communist League.
