Greetings Comrade
MAYDAY EVENTS
2010 marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Working Women’s Charter by the NZ Federation of Labour. It is also 50 years since the introduction of the Government Services Equal Pay Act 1960.
This seminar, to be held on 1 May 2010, will reflect on the Working Women’s Charter; how well we’ve achieved the Charter’s objectives; and considers the relevance of the Charter today for different groups of women. We will ask whether the Charter needs to be updated.
